Q1. Does the Nexus come with a decoder?
A1. Yes. The external decoder ships in the box and splices into the turn feed, which is what keeps a 20W pair stable on a truck that monitors the circuit.
Q2. Where does the decoder wire in?
A2. It taps the turn signal wire behind the lamp and earths to the body; the bulb then sees the load the module expects, and the switch stays clean.
Q3. Will it still hyper flash?
A3. Not once the decoder is earthed on the turn circuit. If the rate is still fast, the tap is usually on the parking wire instead, so check that first.
Q4. Is 2,600LM enough for a DRL?
A4. Yes. 1,300LM per bulb reads clearly at the front of the truck in daylight, and the 34 chips spread it across the lens instead of one hotspot.
Q5. Does the decoder get hot in use?
A5. It warms up while the turn signal runs, which is normal for a load module; mount it on metal away from trim so the heat has somewhere to go.
