Use the SEALIGHT Chevrolet Silverado 1500 light bulb size chart to select your model year and trim, then compare the result with the number on the original bulb.
Compare Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LED Headlight and Fog Light Bulbs
Choose SEALIGHT Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LED headlight bulbs by the result you want: maximum output, balanced night visibility, a basic upgrade or a lower-cost replacement. For trucks with replaceable fog light bulbs, compare XF3 for higher output and F1 for a more affordable replacement.

Output, power and estimated lighting distance may differ by bulb size. Check the linked series page for exact specifications.
These series are intended for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with compatible replaceable-bulb housings. D5S HID headlights and integrated LED headlamps require different replacement solutions.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Brake, Turn Signal and Reverse LED Bulbs
Older Silverado 1500 trucks commonly use 3157-family rear bulbs, while later models may use 7443-family bulbs or integrated LED lights. Confirm that the light has a removable socket before choosing a replacement.
Brake and tail lights: Red Chevrolet Silverado 1500 brake and tail light bulbs improve the visibility of braking and running-light signals. Choose a dual-intensity bulb when one socket handles both functions.
Turn signals: Amber or white-to-amber Silverado 1500 LED turn signal bulbs provide a clearer flashing signal. A load resistor or anti-hyperflash solution may be required if the signal flashes too quickly.
Reverse lights: White Chevrolet Silverado 1500 backup and reverse light bulbs improve the view through the mirrors and backup camera when parking or lining up a trailer after dark.
License plate lights: Silverado 1500 license plate light bulbs replace dim yellow light with a clean white output around the rear plate.
FAQs
Yes. Replaceable halogen bulbs can be changed to LEDs with the same bulb base. D5S HID and integrated LED headlights require different replacement solutions.
Common Silverado 1500 headlight bulb sizes include 9006/HB4, 9005/HB3, H11 and D5S. The correct type depends on the model year, trim and factory headlight system. Check the SEALIGHT Chevrolet Silverado 1500 light bulb size chart before ordering.
There is no single headlight bulb size for every 2026 Silverado 1500. Many trims use integrated LED headlights. Halogen-equipped models commonly use H11 bulbs, with the high-beam size determined by the factory headlight setup.
Many 2016 Silverado 1500 trucks use a D5S HID bulb for both beams, which does not accept a standard halogen-style LED bulb. For a compatible replaceable-halogen setup, choose S7S for maximum output or S2S for balanced night visibility.
A decoder is required if the LED bulb flickers, fails to turn on or causes a dashboard warning. Selected SEALIGHT kits include a decoder. If your compatible kit does not include one, contact SEALIGHT support to request the correct decoder at no charge.
