Q1. Which sockets does the XF2 H11 fit?
A1. H11, H16, H8 and H9 share this base, so the pair covers all four; the number on the old bulb confirms the size.
Q2. Does the fan need space behind the lamp?
A2. Yes. The 20,000RPM fan pulls air through the body, so the back of the bulb has to breathe; a hard cap holds that heat in and shortens the fan life.
Q3. Does 50W exceed the fog circuit?
A3. No. About 4.2A at 12V for the pair, against 9.2A for two 55W H11 halogens, so the stock fuse and wiring sit above the load.
Q4. Will it set a bulb-out code?
A4. Usually not; the driver is stable on most circuits. If a message appears, support ships a free decoder for that fog circuit.
Q5. Is the fan noisy once fitted?
A5. It is audible with the bulb in your hand and fades once it sits inside the lamp; a whine that stays after fitting means the body is touching the cap.
