Q2. Does the H13 bulb need clearance behind the lamp?
A2. Yes. The H13 pair is actively cooled, so the fan needs air behind the base; the H10 pair is passive and shorter, which is why the two stay in their own positions.
Q3. Are the two pairs interchangeable?
A3. No. H13/9008 is a wide dual-filament headlight base and H10/9145/9140 a smaller fog base, and the H13 pair is actively cooled while the H10 pair is passive, so the two do not swap.
Q4. Do both circuits need a decoder?
A4. Usually not, since each pair has its own supply. If the dash reports the H13 headlight, support ships a free decoder for that circuit alone.
Q5. Will the headlight and fog light match in colour?
A5. Yes. Both pairs are Bright White 6500K, so the front shows one colour; the output differs, 24,000LM at the headlight against 6,000LM at the fog.
Q6. Can the fog pair be aimed without touching the headlights?
A6. Yes. The H10 pair sits in its own lamp with its own adjuster, so setting the fog cut-off does not move the H13 headlight.
