How good are your reversing lights? Do you feel the need for better visibility whilst backing up? It’s logical not to pay as much attention to our reverse lights as we do to our headlights. If you are experiencing poor visibility whilst backing up due to lack of illumination, it’s time to upgrade to LED backlighting. Back-up/Reverse Light LED Bulbs from SEALIGHT are your best choice if you are looking for better lighting performance on a budget with ease of installing and maximum durability.
For the brightest illumination available, a replacement LED Bulb meets your needs. Regardless of the LED bulb options you select from, you stand assured on a significant upgrade from the old dim, unreliable, and failure prone incandescent bulbs. Available in sizes for all interior and exterior applications, and in a range of popular colors, all SEALIGHT LED Bulbs deliver what you expect in a replacement light bulb, which is brilliant illumination, easy plug-and-play installation, durability and an exceptionally long lifespan.
With an increasing number of vehicles being fitted at the factory with brighter, highly efficient LED bulbs, many of the new models of cars and trucks today still ply on the roads equipped with incandescent bulbs. Inside the incandescent bulb an electrical current is applied to heat a filament until it glows. These are highly inefficient bulbs because much of the energy applied is wasted in heat production. Often the heat can even crack, distort or discolor the lamp lenses over a period of time.
Even when brand new, incandescent bulbs are not as bright as LEDs and they get progressively dull with age with deposits from the filament collecting on the inner surface of the bulb. This reduces the light output. The filament gets used up as the bulb operates, which is why the average incandescent bulb has an expected lifespan of about 2000 hours only. The filament being fragile can fail instantly due to shock when exposed to excessive vibration.
In contrast a Light Emitting Diode or LED bulb is a solid state device. It’s a semiconductor that emits light when current is applied. LEDs are distinctly more efficient, producing far more light per unit of power supplied and run much cooler. They last at least 50,000 hours of operation and display no visible decrease in illumination over their lifespan. You would most probably never have to replace them, or be unexpectedly pulled over by a cop for light failure.
Since they have no delicate filaments, they are insensitive to vibration, making them impervious to shocks while negotiating off-road stretches or poor road conditions. LEDs can easily be made to emit light of different colors and another advantage that makes them ideal particularly for brake lights is that they light up 0.2 seconds faster than incandescent bulbs. In theory it may not seem much, but when you consider a situation where at a speed of 60 mph or more, it gives the driver of a following vehicle the advance warning to act in time and avoid collision.
Back to reverse lights, we ideally require equally good lighting while we are reversing. LED reverse lights give us the required output to significantly improve our visibility whilst backing up. With SEALIGHT LED reverse lights, you would experience the ease of backing up. It’s time to upgrade.
