  1. To Spot the headlight holder

This is the vital and primary work you need to do as a first step. You should open the hood of the car and search through the engine compartment for the headlight holder. Generally, a car has a headlamp holder with three wires. The bulb holder will be connected to a power connector.

  1. Removal of Power wires

Depending upon your car the power wires are likely to be attached with a plug held by a screw cap, metal clip or a plastic catch. It will also consist of a lever which you need to push. The plug is likely to come out while you push the lever.  You can remove the bulb after it. Always take special care to remove the bulb. Either you have to pull the bulb form the base or you have to rotate it.

  1. Installation of the new bulb

As one of the vital car accessories, you need to handle the new bulb with utmost care. Touch it with gloves on or a tissue paper. A clean wipe with alcohol may also work. You need to simply stick it to the base of the bulb with the holder. See that no gasket is visible which will denote the perfect installation of the bulb. Install the plug as you have earlier opened it.
